Something....that leads to nothing!!!!

I have changed the title and the contents of this post 3 times till now....and I am not even writing what I started off writing....But anyways its ok, because I have the freedom of speech here...I can speak whatever I want, and nobody is there to correct my english, or judge my character from my words....or tell me to shut up even....I dont have to worry about boring the listener to death, or giving away something that i shouldnt have....Now I realize why people blog....i used to think it is absolutely waste of time...becoz no soul in this world has the time or inclination to read whatever crap in happening in ur life or in ur life.....so if u dont have an audience then why perform.....But lately I have realized that blogging is not to let the public know about ur crappy ideas, but its just a mean to express urself...No matter if no one reads it, no matter if it isnt appreciated, who cares.....The important thing is u have got it our of ur system....and thats what matter..........

My First GD(Group Discussion)

Well well well...This is one helluva interesting incident which i am going to belt out today from my soul(yes, because everything i write here directly comes out from my soul)

It all started while our Computer Engineering Department second batch (Roll no.20 to 40)was sitting in the Engineering Graphics lab doing our work - completing sheets, drawing et al.Suddenly 3 students came from nowhere(ofcourse from the door but i mean to say they appeared suddenly). They had come to inform us about something. For that they first of all took the permission of our lecturers and lecturers, who readily permitted them to do so but only after the completion of the lecture. So that was it.

They were a group of 3 i.e 2 boys and girl.Coincidentally they happened to be our seniors(of Computer Department) who were in the 3rd year of engineering. Also they were members of Computer Society of India and were working as volunteers for some event of the society.Stepping forward, they started the junior-senior interaction by informing us that 29th February was 'Computer Day',so on that day the CSI(Computer Society of India) was going to organize some event.Later they listed out the events which as follows:Group Discussion,Quiz,Paper Presentation,Poster Making,Treasure Hunt & Jack of All Trades. It was a 2days festival.I registered my name for group Discussion as i was unable to find the partners to form a group for Quiz Contest(Ya,unfortunately it required exactly a group of 3 (: ...not one nor one less)

As a matter of surprise,i was the only person who raised his hands for participation in the event.Noone seemed to be at all interested in participating in those events as they thought it as nothing but mere wastage of time. And to add to that we had our exams on 10th and that made the matters worst. And yes, leaving aside some, rest all were from Gujarati medium so it was of no use had they taken part in that.Usually,Gujarati medium students don't like anything interactive like this.Their vision, knowledge and understanding is only limited till their textbooks and don't look beyond that.I should say their vision is limited. They are ignorant in some matters. They don't know how much important these little experiences are for us in enhancing our body language et al.After all, when we pass out only this experience is going to count. The one who has got more experience and knowledge will definitely possess a upper hand.He who is able to communicate well will only be able to taste success in securing placements in premier companies. The percentage and education won't count at that time.If you have Education and you are not able to present it then it is of no real value. It is like knowing to play Table Tennis but not playing. So simple as that.

TO BE CONTINUED..STILL LOT MANY INCIDENTS LEFT TO BE DESCRIBED...SORRY FOR KEEPING YOU AWAITED BUT I AM BUSY STUDYING THESE DAYS AS I HAVE MY EXAMS LINED UP IN THE NEXT WEEK.

My incidents and experiences

Till date i have had many experiences(ranging from good to bad to even worse at times).I have also come across drastically contradictory circumstances and incidents which i will unveil with the help of this blog. You will get to read everything uncensored..lol.

Those Days When Everything Used To Go Wrong

Yups!!!!!!It was the day when everything went wrong right from the word 'GO'.Our college(Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology) had organised the annual festival as per the usual tradition. It was called 'Dhoom'.The festival was going to commence on 15thFebruaary '08.It was going to be a three day festival. It included competition in various events like solo dancing, group dancing, solo singing, group singing, ramp walking(fashion show),arts,crafts,rangoli,drawing,painting,1 minute, treasure hunt, general knowledge quiz, engineering quiz, anchoring, debate, plays, project making, various sports like table tennis, cricket, soccer, volleyball, basketball, badminton, chess, carrom, shortput, running, relay, long jump et al.Everyone was allowed to participate in whichever field he/she liked. There used to be a preliminary selection for each of the event so that only cream of the contenders appeared in the Dhoom festival.

Being interested in GK since a child i had took part in GK quiz and Engineering Quiz.Being a avid reader and writer of blogs and all those literary stuff i had taken part in Anchoring too(did not take part in debate because the registration date had passed before we even knew about the event..:)).And how would have i forgotten Table Tennis.Being a so much skilled and having achieved so much expertise in Table Tennis it was butnatural that i was going to participate in that.To add to that i had also participated in Badminton as knew the game quite well(i have grown up watching top Badminton players play at Bal Bhavan .Besides that, i used to play Badminton in our society too).

Well, preliminary rounds of GK quiz and Engineering were held.I performed well but not well enough to get selected(hahaha). But atleast managed to secure a berth in the extras(hahahahaha). But yes i expected something more.I fall back partly because the questions were more on Bollywood and all and less of the knowledgable type.It was ok...i was happy having performed average(because the expectations were high).I had put my best efforts that mattered the most. Then came the 1st round of Badminton which i easily won(i never expected that..but..i realized that afterwards that the opponent that i was drawn against was the weakest amongst all)Anyways,i was nice to start the campaign with a huge win. Then came the turn of Table Tennis.I was a bit tense this over as this was my main sport.I had to play Rohan Desai my nearest competitor.I easily won against him(3-0 margin). It was a totally lopsided affair. With all the points coming in my kitty. The reason was that that i hardly made any unforced errors which i am used to and add to that he made many silly errors. So it was great going by me on all fronts leaving some results aside.I did knew that really really bad time was just around the corner...

It all started with Badminton. My 1st round was over. Now i had to play 2nd round. But 1st round of many of the players was completed so it was decided that on Monday the remaining 1st round matches would be conducted while the 2nd round matches would commence from Tuesday. So i was under the same impression.I had come to college on Monday.I came to know that 1st round matches of Badminton from my friend. But to my utter disappointment the 2nd round matches were completed immediately after that..It was very bad of them to do that. They did not find it necessary to even inform me leave aside contacting. And how could they change the schedule like that? They should have supposed to put atleast a notice regarding that.It was very unfair on their part.I was immensely disappointed with all these Politics(Yes,i would call it 'Politics' as it seemed to me that it was aimed at bringing some particular players at the top through unfair means....the opponent did think even once while getting walk over..he must have said in his mind 'achha hain usay nahin pata..agar bina khele jitnay ko milta hain to usay kyu bulau main').But the loss was neither mine(Yes,i knew i had to lose at some point),neither anyone. In fact it was the loss of the sport of Badminton.I would conclude that it suffered the most.

But Hey!!!Hey!!!Hey!!!The troubles didn't seem to end here.In fact, bigger troubles were ahead waiting for me.Those happened to be in Table Tennis unfortunately. As i said i was in 2nd round.I was not able to attend the college on 15th and 16th(although there was no need of mine..as my events were already over..so it would have been a time pass and nothing more)as i was unwell - having done those 'bhag -daud' previous days in that scorching heat to participate in the events. So,i did not knew the timings for the 2nd round of Table Tennis which was supposed to be held on 17th February '08.Somebody had told me the events are held in the evening and when i asked everyone noone knew about the timings. So ,i was still under the impression that my match was in the evening on 17th Feb.So ,as usual being lazy as always i woke up at 8a.m.Got ready in around an half hour or hour .Had my breakfast and packed my bags to go to my college.By the time i reached college it was around 10:30.While i passed the cricket ground which is on the way to my Table Tennis i tried to search my sports coach but in vain. When i reached the hall/room what i found was that my match was played by Rohan(the same player whom i had beat in the 1st round). They said as i did not come he played my match. They said our college had send 2 entries for the competition if one does not turn up it was the turn of the 2nd.They said nothing was possible now as the matches were already played and they had reached the Semi Final stage till then.Though some help was in the offering as Rohan and other player called Vikar Sir(our sports coach) to which he(sir) said to send me(myself) to the ground to meet him.So as per his intruction,i went there to the cricket ground to meet.I found him finally after having searched almost the whole ground.I just came in front of him and did not even utter a single word to which he said 'chal yahan se ja..mera time pass mat kar..chal phut'. I said sir atleast listen to me,i was unwell to which he heatedly said 'ek bar kahan na ja yahan se..char din ke bad milna..phut yahan se'.Ohhhh !! I was really very shocked hearing such a rude(Yes,I HATE RUDE PEOPLE the most) language from the mouth of my college sir.But i did not even say a single bad thing to him..because i believe and follow my aai's(mother)principles that 'Even if someone is bad to you don't be bad to him otherwise there would remain no difference between both of us'.To add to that he was elder to me and i know to respect my elders and talk nicely with them.I am a disciplinarian.
I was totally broken that very moment.Though i returned to the Table Tennis room and did not show any emotions and accepted the crowning of Rohan as champ smiling(congratulated him too). For a happy ending as i had come prepared to the venue wearing shorts in college i bid good bye to that day playing a match with Rohan which i again won. That was i hope the icing but the there was no cake for that.LOL

But that all was predecided by God i know. And i believe in the saying 'Whatever happens ,happens for good'.So it must have happened so that i can take some positives out of that. After all ,it was for my betterment. So i don't regret as such.

Lastly ,Thank You God for this gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD IS GREAT
